Instructions for Registration:

  • Each attendee must complete their own registration. Click the Register Now button or the link below to get started. 
  • Go to https://2026easternstatesconference.sched.com/
  • Click Reserve Tickets.
  • Click Sign Up or Log In at the bottom of the page.
    • If you have used SCHED in the past, you should be able to log into your account. If not, please sign up.
  • Add a ticket (IMPORTANT: you must choose the correct ticket type–Slide Presentation, Poster Presentation, or RPD/Preceptor)
  • Click Next
  • Complete the Registration Form.
  • Click Pay Now to pay by credit card or Pay by Invoice to mail a check. We prefer you pay by credit card, if possible.
    • You will be redirected to Stripe to enter our payment information.
    • If you must choose to pay by invoice, you will need a purchase order number to complete your transaction. Please email easternstatesconf@gmail.com to set this up.
  • Once payment has been processed you will receive the registration successful message in SCHED.
    • If you are a resident (and you chose the slide or poster presentation ticket), you will be emailed after March 1st with instructions on how to submit your abstract.
    • Lodging must also be secured by the registrant. Please make your reservation using the information on our lodging page to secure our group rates at surrounding hotels.

SCHED Abstract Submission Instructions

  • You will be emailed after March 1st with abstract submission instructions
  • Log in to your SCHED account using the same login you used to register. **You must be registered for the conference by the March 1st deadline to submit an abstract.
  • Edit your description
  • Enter abstract information using the following format. Be sure to follow all abstract guidelines on the ESC website, including character/word limits.
    • Title:

    • Objective:
    • Self Assessment Question:
    • Background:
    • Methods:
    • Results:
    • Conclusion:
  • Deadline to submit abstracts is April 1st

We will use an SCHED to schedule and view abstracts. You will be able to update your abstract after you have submitted in SCHED. 

Presentations will be live, in-person at Inova Center for Personalized Health in Fairfax, VA on May 14-15, 2026.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received by March 31, 2026 will be refunded minus a $50 administration fee. Cancellations received April 1-May 10, 2026 will be refunded minus a $100 administration fee. Cancellations received after May 10, 2026 will not be refunded.
